So I will call it my Not To Do List for today, so if I don't do it I won't feel bad :)
I got all my stuff together for doing my taxes last weekend. Today I will try to accomplish completing that task online.
I also want to call a few places to have them come out and give me some quotes on getting a new shower. This is how stuff lacks on getting fixed around my house, around September last year we tore out all the tile from our master bath shower as the grout was messed up and it was leaking behind. And when I say we, I mean my husband and his friend. They also tore out the drywall and replaced a few boards that were rotten. Since then all that needed to be added was some insulation, then to call some people for some quotes. And it still sits. So today or tomorrow I will be calling a few places so I can get this over with.
I know I have other stuff "not to do", but I can't think of them right off the top of my head.
Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. It'll be a warm one here today, yuck! One day, one day I will be complaining about the snow!

Meet Jackson - He Needs A Home (NV)
This is Jackson . He's a 7-8 year old black/tan Doberman located in Las Vegas, NV. Here's what his description says:
Meet Jackson. Jackson is an approximately 7-8 year old neutered male Doberman who is looking for a new home to call his own. Jackson came to us from the local high kill shelter, he was extremely thin (he weighed 65lbs) and he needed fattening up. We have fattened Jackson up (he weighs 85lbs currently) and he is now ready to go live with his new forever family. Jackson is good with other dogs both small and large, cats, rabbits and even a pet pig (all of the mentioned animals in his foster home) he is housetrained and crate trained as well as neutered, current on vaccines and microchip. Sounds like an all around great dog! If you know of anyone who's looking for a good boy, please share.

Donations?
Awhile back I was supposed to help with a transport. I was excited. It was my first time helping with something like this. It was a Doberman who was adopted and I was going to meet someone about an hour away to let them transport the rest of the way. The morning I was going to pick up the dog, the rescue called me and told me he hadn't been neutered yet so the transport was delayed. I told them I would be more than happy to do it when he was ready.
About ten days passed and I hadn't heard anything so I sent them a message. They said he was neutered and was going to get his stitches out, I believe in two days. I told them I was still up for the transport, to contact me when ready. Well two days came and went. It must have been about another two weeks, then I seen a post on their page for help in transport of the dog again. Unfortunately this was the week that my husband had his heart attack, so I didn't even respond to it.
Well last week they made a plea for donations to help with the increase of seniors they have in their care. I offered cash that I have on hand. They live out by me, about 15-20 minutes away. I asked if we could meet up over last weekend so I could give them the cash, they said yes. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me, as they were sick the prior week and to let me know when they were feeling better. I didn't hear from them. I sent them a message on Monday and told them I would keep the money for them and to call me when I could meet up and give it to them. Well I still haven't heard from them.
I know they are really great and take a lot of senior Dobermans in, so I really don't want to say anything about them...but what the heck?! I thought they needed help? I guess they don't need it immediately. Me, I like to get things done right away when they are needed (maybe except housework). I certainly won't spend this money or give it to another rescue as I would feel horrible, but how long do I keep it for until I give up? I'm going to send them another message this week and tell them I'll stop by my bank and get a darn cashiers check if they want to sent me their address. Not really sure what else to offer. I thought with them being so close it would be as easy as 1,2,3...not.

Festive Collars and Warning Sign
So I didn't do too bad with my husbands driving to the craft show today. He only made me grab his arm once. Barely anyone at the craft show, so it was nice to walk around. The majority of people there at the fairgrounds were there for the gun show. Talk about two different worlds, craft people...gun people. Funny to see!
Had to torture my kiddos with something today so I bought them each a new festive collar. I was only going to get Holly one, but I didn't want to leave Lucas out.
I also bought this sign, but I'm pretty sure everyone already knows how I feel about my dogs. I don't put my dogs in another room. If they don't like them, they can leave.

Also bought a few things to start a Mother's Day gift basket for my moms. Last year it took me awhile to figure out what to get so I thought I'd start early.
Now to try and get some laundry done today so I don't have too much to do tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a good day!!
Not a Must Do
So making a must do list doesn't work for me, so I'm ditching that. Instead I plan on dragging the hubby to the craft fair today that is at the fairgrounds. I was nice and did give him the option of going to the gun show which is at the same time at the fairgrounds, but he declined saying that it would be too crazy there. I also gave him the option of dropping me off, but he offered to go and suffer with the crazy ladies inside. Last time I went to the show it wasn't crowded, so maybe we'll get lucky again.
I just need to get out of this house for the day and do something for myself. I was going to go to Kohls and spend my gift cards from Christmas, but I'm not really in the mood for trying on clothes. I'll probably do that in a couple of weeks. Really need some new shirts. Out with the old, in with the new.
I went to the Sears Outlet yesterday as I received a pair of jeans from a friend that do not fit. Well now the Sears Outlet does not take returns from Sears purchases. Last year they did, but their policies changed. The one Sears that was close to me closed years ago, and I refuse to travel farther to return a pair of jeans worth $20. When I got home I sent my "bitch" letter to Sears and of course I got the response I knew I would get. One that they wouldn't/couldn't help me. So now I will be asking any friends if they know anyone who wants them, or they will be going to the Salvation Army. Oh, and I also believe Sears is off my stores of places to shop. That's always fun to do!
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday! Enjoy your day! It's finally supposed to get colder here tonight, and we finally got some much needed rain the past 2 days!
